My daughters birthday wish of a replacement ds for her 4th birthday

I got my daughter a ds for Christmas and she loved it she played it as much as she was allowed ( within reason of course ) it helped her learn letters and numbers. she took great care and was always so careful with it , but sadly left it on a train a few weeks ago, she has asked me to buy one for her birthday but with all our bills coming in and debs to pay i don't have the money to spare just now. I have got her some things for her birthday from charity shops and ebay she is too young to care or notice if they are new luckily , but i know this is the one thing she really wants. I know its not long till her birthday and i have told her i will try my best to get her one for Christmas. Its a big ask and not as deserving as many of the wishes on here but it you could help i would be very grateful and so would my daughter.
